Fu Manchu is a stoner rock band formed in 1985 in California. Initially known as Virulence, they adopted their current name in 1990. After several lineup changes, the band stabilized in 2001 with Scott Hill (vocals/guitar), Brad Davis (bass), Bob Balch (guitar), and Scott Reeder (drums). Their music features heavy riffs with punk and hard rock influences. They have released several notable albums, including California Crossing (2001) and Clone of the Universe (2018). In 2024, they released The Return of Tomorrow, a double album.
